British actress Lucy Gordon, who played a role in the Spider-Man 3 blockbuster, had been found dead in her Paris flat.

Gordon, who will soon appear as British singer Jane Birkin in a biopic of the French crooner Serge Gainsbourg, killed herself in Paris on Wednesday, her agent said.

“Oh my God. I feel terrible for the family. What a tragedy,” Spider-Man director Sam Raimi told reporters at the Cannes film festival after they informed him of the death of the 29-year-old up-and-coming star. (more…)
