Dear Nanu,
Everything we are doing about god is funny. You go to temple. do you think god is there to bless u. No oooo. This Kumari is also taken as living goddess culturally. what is wrong if she is worshiped as goddess. I think u know nothing about the residence of Kumari. She is kept very hapily there. She plays, studies and can meet every body she wants there. earlier, King himself comes to knee down her. isn’t is pride of newari culture, herself and her parents??? There are two different things between belief and culture. Of course in 21st century, nobody believe god. But being a newar, you have to save your culture if it is not bad. And for your kind information there is nothing bad to that girl who takes charge as Kumari. There is fun and only fun.

As we all know that Kumari pratha is a long history of nepal. but ths does not mean that we have to continue what is not right and which abuses the child’s rights.
